Let´s make a short introduction about this airplane not known for everyone.
El Brigand fué diseñado como sucesor del Beuafighter, con mayor velocidad y autonomía, voló a fines de 1944 pero no llegó a tiempo para la segunda guerra, aunque fué extensamente empleado en Malasia y Adén.
The Bristol Brigand was designed to replace the Beaufighter, and has more speed, and range. To simplify the Bristol team used the existing wing, tail, and landing gear of the Buckingham, and designed a new fuselage for the Brigand. The first Brigand fly late 1944, but did not reach service until after the Second World War ended.
El Brigand combatió en el Escuadron 45 en Singapur reemplazando los Beaufighter de esa unidad a fines del 49, y luchando contra los comunistas en Malasia, también operaron en Aden con el escuadrón número 8.
En el Escuadron N 45 fueron substituidos por de Havilland Hornet, y los del 8 por Vampires.
The Brigand flight combat missions with 45 Squadron in Singapore transitioned to the type from their Beaufighters in late 1949. From their base at RAF Station Tengah, the Brigands of 45 Squadron supported British forces fighting against the communist insurgency in Malaya. The aircraft of 45 Squadron were replaced with de Havilland Hornets, while 84 Squadron was disabled. The Brigands serving in 8 Squadron out of Aden were replaced by de Havilland Vampires.

Las piezas vienen bien acomodadas y con espacio, la caja es resistente.

Adentro vienen tres sprues para el avión, motores y tomas de aire en resina, calcas, cabinas inyectadas, y fotograbados.
Inside it contains three grey sprues for the kit, resin engines and air intakes, injected canopy, decals and photoetched.
Instrucciones claras y con esquemas en colores.
Instructions are clear, and with the camo schemes in colour.
Incluye estas fotos de los motores y cabina.
Include this pictures of engine, and cockpit.
Las piezas estan bien moldeadas, con detalles a escala.
Parts are very well molded with a lot of details in scale.
La cabina es inyectada y muy buena.
Canopy is injected and very good!
Los Bristol Centaurus vienen en resina.

Las calcas parecen muy buenas y bien centradas.

Viene para hacer uno en Malasia y uno en Adén, Extra dark sea grey sobre negro, o blanco sobre negro.
This aircraft, is VS584 from 84 Squadron in Malaya, Extra dark sea grey over black.
The second option is RH764 from 8 Squadron at Aden, and is camouflaged in white over black.
Conclusión:
Es un kit algo caro, pero vale la pena, de caja se puede lograr una maqueta muy buena, de un avión interesante y que voló en combate.
Is a very good kit, that can be turn in a excellent kit with its own parts, from a plane that is a rare bird and that saw combat accion.
